I widened this fireplace to fit a new log-effect burner. Had to take one side out, rebuild it using the original stone, and add new concrete lintels.
Finished it off with an oak-effect surround, fresh pointing to match the existing wall, slate hearth, and painted the back before fitting the burner. 🔥
