💜 JESSICA’S JOURNEY 💜
We’d like you to meet Jessica.
Jessica is a beautiful 4-year-old girl living with cerebral palsy. But her journey began long before that diagnosis.
Jessica was born 10 weeks premature following an emergency C-section, after her mum became seriously unwell with sepsis. It was a frightening time for the whole family, and Jessica faced her own fight from the very beginning.
After birth, Jessica’s lungs collapsed and she was starved of oxygen — something that later led to her diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
Since then, Jessica has shown nothing but strength.
As other children grow, they begin to move, explore, and learn to ride bikes — gaining independence along the way. For Jessica, those moments haven’t come as easily, and she’s often had to watch from the sidelines.
That’s why we’ve chosen Jessica’s Journey as the very first project for Foundations for Life.
We are raising funds for a specially adapted bike, designed around Jessica’s needs — giving her the chance to ride, to move freely, and to feel like any other child learning something new.
Because every child deserves that moment.
This isn’t just about a bike.It’s about inclusion. It’s about confidence. It’s about giving Jessica opportunities she’s been missing.
We’ve worked closely with Jessica’s family to make sure her story is shared with care and respect, and we’re incredibly grateful to them for allowing us to be part of this journey.
