We’re proud to be a finalist for Best Training & Development Programme of the Year at the 2026 Plastics Industry Awards. 🏆
Over the last 18 months, Flambeau Europe has attended careers fairs at seven secondary schools across Thanet, with Mark and Chris meeting roughly 7,000 pupils.
A big part of that has been through Education Business Partnership, and especially Anne McNulty, who has been fantastic in helping connect us with local schools and young people.
Thousands of pupils have had the opportunity to speak with us about engineering, manufacturing and the career paths available locally.
Our apprenticeship programme is growing too, with apprentices across electrical and mechanical engineering, office roles and administration.
One apprentice first joined us through a T Level placement, before progressing into an apprenticeship with us.
A major part of our wider training and development initiative has also been our work with Sierra 57 Consult Ltd, combining structured skills assessments with tailored, practical training on site.
As technology continues to move quickly, skills development has to move with it.
For us, though, it’s about more than keeping up. We strive to be a place where people can learn, progress and build a long-term career.
