After more than 50 years of outstanding service, we celebrate the retirement of Charlie Hasson, Site Director at M. Hasson & Sons Ltd.

Charlie’s career has been defined by unwavering dedication, craftsmanship, and leadership. From the early days on site to guiding projects as Site Director, his knowledge, work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality have left a lasting mark on our company and everyone who has worked alongside him.

For over five decades, Charlie has been more than a colleague — he has been a mentor, a role model, and a cornerstone of M. Hasson & Sons Ltd. His contribution to the steel industry and to our family-run business is immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to stand strong in the structures he helped build and the people he inspired.

We thank Charlie for his incredible service and wish him a long, happy, and well-earned retirement. He will be greatly missed, but his impact will never be forgotten.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to carry out final checks, repairs, and adjustments on completed steel structures. This important role — often referred to as snagging — combines hands-on steel er****on tasks with inspection and finishing work to ensure all structures meet the highest safety and quality standards.

𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Inspect completed steel frameworks to identify and correct defects or issues
- Perform minor repairs, including patching, tightening bolts, or light carpentry
- Fasten and adjust components such as cladding and flashings
- Operate hand and power tools, including MEWPs where required
- Work safely at height while following strict health and safety procedures
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete work to specification
- Ensure safety features, such as handrails and netting, are properly installed and secure

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Previous experience as a steel erector or in a similar structural role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially for working at height
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
