At BAM Engineering Ltd, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health in the workplace.

As we head towards Christmas, it’s a good moment to pause and reflect on what has been a busy and rewarding 2025 for BAM Engineering.

This year has been about strengthening foundations, backing our people, and deepening our role across UK manufacturing and defence. Highlights from 2025 include:

• Joining the Armed Forces Covenant
• Attending the SMMT Annual Dinner and wider industry events
• Becoming part of the Manufacturers Hub
• Working alongside TraceID to improve traceability and digital product identity
• Taking part in the Motiv8 Connect Supplier Engagement Days
• Marking Gordon’s retirement after many years of dedicated service
• Joining Make UK Defence
• A successful ISO 9001:2015 audit
• Reigniting the Adwest Steering name and heritage
• Receiving a Certificate of Recognition from the Assent Sustainability Network
• Seeing continued investment in skills, including Mitutoyo CMM training within the team

This week, BAM Engineering had the pleasure of attending the Motiv8 Connect supplier engagement day at Lotus cars.

Representing the team, Steve Bamber and Robert Williams showcased our range of precision-engineered products and in-house assembly capabilities.

The event was exceptionally well-organized and provided a valuable platform to engage with the Lotus team. A big thank you to everyone involved in making the day a success and well worth the 4 hours of travel.

At BAM Engineering, investing in our team is a top priority. We’re proud to share that Steve, Robin, and Andy successfully completed on-site forklift training with CITP Ltd, achieving an impressive 100% pass rate!👏🏼

Phil from CITP commended the safety measures and organisation within our warehouse, highlighting our commitment to a safe and efficient work environment. Steve, our owner, expressed his enthusiasm for the training and is excited to put his new qualification into practice!
