It’s always a pleasure to see the exceptionally high standards of quality and safety that our site teams produce time and time again.

At this site Biogenie Remediation UK LTD have already carried out a large volume of the proposed turnover remediation works and have currently treated about 25% of the soils requiring treatment. We will be treating soils until late September and after this carrying out backfilling works and site capping works.

Our dewatering works have been assisted by a treated water lagoon we have constructed on site and the lagoon has facilitated the reuse of over 300 m3 of water so far in S/S treatment work and dust suppression. We have approximately 16 more weeks of works on site, and we have a target to complete the main earthworks by the end of October this year and the remaining capping/backfilling works being completed by Christmas. Close out works will then follow in 2025.

We are excited to announce that Damian has recently joined our team at Biogenie as an Engineer.

‘I feel very welcome at Biogenie UK and am delighted to be working here. Everyone I have met has been knowledgeable and helpful in my development. I am looking forward to growing and developing my career within Biogenie.

I have experience working within an environmental permitting team, conducting environmental monitoring across active quarries and landfills, and brownfield sites. This has given me knowledge into groundwater, surface water, and gas monitoring.

My studies have given me a strong understanding in ecology and environmental science. I am eager to share my knowledge with and learn from my colleagues at Biogenie’.

We are excited to announce that Leon has recently joined our team at Biogenie as an SAR Engineer.

Leon brings a wealth of experience from his previous role as a Laboratory Engineer at Fugro, where he conducted a wide range of geotechnical tests as well as spending time offshore gaining hands-on experience with core logging and sample analysis. Leon’s background in Marine Biology and his passion for precision in technical work has helped him to fit well into our dynamic projects.

We are very pleased to announce that Manjit has recently joined Biogenie UK in the role as Business Development Manager, Soil Treatment Facilities (STF) for our Southeast region.

Manjit has extensive experience in the environmental industry, where she has built and grown businesses, specializing in areas such as contaminated land, waste management, water, mining, energy, and resources. Throughout her career, she has held various business development roles and has also worked in laboratories.

Liam writes:

‘I have previously worked in the waste industry, starting on the weighbridge, and then operating loading shovels and 360 handlers. In my free time I am a special constable for Essex Police. I have done this for the last 6 years which has given me a variety of experiences working with people and under pressure.
