SOLID CONCRETE BALUSTRADES
We constructed these “Stunning” stairs with solid,concrete balustrades on a huge, new build in Sandbanks, Poole.
The stairs ran from basement to second floors and were a straight/helical design.
The internal balustrade is solid concrete and flowed seamlessly from the basement to second floors, including the curved landing areas.
The mid section of each flight is helical with sweeping soffits meeting the two straight sections.

SPIRAL CONCRETE STAIRS WITH SOLID CONCRETE BALUSTRADE
We recently constructed this spiral, concrete stairs, with solid concrete balustrades, on a huge new build in Mill Hill London. A very challenging project, the inner radius of the stairs is only 100mm. A “head scratcher” to form the inner balustrade on such a tight radius. We also had to consider access to the stairs from the basement, because there are three walls around it, you have to walk under the soffit to get to the first step. We had to arch the outer soffit and chamfer this section to the inner soffit.
The stairs will be plastered and timber to treads and risers. We also rebated sections in the lower part of the outer balustrade for lighting.

We recently constructed these helical stairs on a huge refurb in Bromley.
A simple site survey, a discussion with the client and the design was agreed.
The stairs ran from Ground to second floors.
They are 1 metre wide and the treads and risers will be finished with micro-cement.

CURVED CONCRETE STAIRS
We recently constructed this large, curved, concrete stairs on a huge, new build near Hemel Hempstead.
The original precast stairs that had been fitted, had to be removed as the pitch of the stair was far too steep.
We designed and built this stair to the Clients exact requirements.
The outer string edge is curved and the treads tapered instead of being straight, adding a feel of a helical flight.
The widest tread top and bottom was 1500mm, narrowing to 1200mm in the middle.
The stairs will be tiled with a carpet runner on top.

SPIRAL CONCRETE STAIRS
We constructed this spiral concrete stairs on a lavish, new build in St Ives, Cornwall.
“Treleigh” is an award winning property, self sufficient, eco home.
The stairs ran from the basement to the first floor in this stunning property.
The initial design was for a polished plaster to the soffit and string edges.
The Clients were so happy with the exposed, raw concrete finish, they left it untouched.
The stair treads were finished with timber, the balustrade a mixture of glass and steel.

The stairs ran from Ground to Second floors and required a little “Design & Build” to ensure all complied with building regs.

CONCRETE STAIRS/CONCRETE BALUSTRADES

We recently constructed these “stunning” helical, concrete stairs with concrete balustrades/closed stringers, on a huge, new build near St Albans.
The stairs ran from basement level to first floors.
The outer curve has a full height, concrete balustrade, the inner has a closed stringer for a glass balustrade to sit onto. The treads and risers will be finished with timber.

STEPPED SOFFIT CONCRETE STAIRS-
We recently constructed these stepped soffit stairs on a huge refurb in Bexhill-On-Sea.
The stairs ran from Ground to second floors.
The string edge and soffit are to be left as “exposed concrete” treads and risers will be finished with wood.
A shadow gap of 100mm was formed where the stairs were adjacent to the block walls.

HELICAL CONCRETE STAIRS WITH SOLID CONCRETE BALUSTRADE

We recently constructed this concrete stairs with solid, concrete balustrades on a new build in Penn.
The stairs ran Ground to first floors and were 1m wide. The balustrade is 75mm wide on both sides.
The treads and risers will receive a timber finish, all other surfaces will be plastered.
The inner radius was very tight and a challenge, not only on the soffit, but also the balustrade.

CURVED CONCRETE STAIRS
We recently constructed this huge, cured, T-Shape style stairs on a huge refurb in Essex. The stair width on the curved, lower section ran from 1800mm to 1200mm.
We added the bullnose detail at the bottom after the Formwork was removed.
