Congrats to Oli Scovell, an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor Level 4, one of the 3 CoTrain apprentices who has been accepted onto the Galliford Try Traineeship!

His onsite mentor stated “Oli is going from strength to strength, taking on more responsibilities, and rising to the task. He goes out of his way to ensure all tasks and actions are completed on/or ahead of schedule, before me checking or requesting - and always diligently and to a high standard. Oli is doing fantastically well and GT has recently conducted the F/T hire interviews, and Oli has been rewarded for all his effort and hard work over the past two years. This is a great achievement and well deserved.”

His tutor commented “Oli’s approaches sessions with a positive attitude. His level of engagement in class is strong; he contributes thoughtfully to discussions and applies feedback constructively. In terms of results, he is progressing well and meeting expectations at this stage of the programme, with clear evidence of continued development.”

Oli is a previous Apprentice of the Quarter winner and we look you forward to seeing your future in the construction industry.

Every successful construction project relies on logistics.

It’s what keeps sites safe, efficient, and sustainable.

Yet, logistics is often managed by people with no formal training meaning their real expertise gets diverted elsewhere.

We’re changing that.

After two successful intakes on the HS2 project, Barnet and Southgate College, Cidori, and CoTrain are launching another Construction Logistics Apprenticeship cohort in July 2026.

➡️ A structured 14-month programme + assessment
➡️ A gateway to professional recognition in logistics
➡️ A career with multiple growth pathways

We’re inviting you to get involved.

Congrats to Dylan Myers, an Apprentice Site Supervisor Level 4, one of the 3 CoTrain apprentices who has been accepted onto the Galliford Try Traineeship!

His onsite mentor expressed “ Dylan treats every day as a school day; he is very keen to learn and has picked so much up in the last 18 months. He often helps other team members and supply chain members with Tech support. Dylan’s behaviour at work is impeccable, he has maintained a steady head even in the most frustrating of situations. He is well respected within the supply chain and has built some strong bonds. Dylan’s commitment level is in my opinion very high. He clearly has an emotional attachment to the business goals and values.”

His tutor said “Dylan remains consistently engaged with his course and is diligently working towards his EPA. I have absolutely no concerns about how he is performing and I think a distinction in his EPA is absolutely within his grasp.”

Congrats Dylan, we wish you success in your future career in the construction industry. Dylan is also a past receiver of our Apprentice of the Quarter certificate.
