Overloading can quickly lead to fines, roadside prohibitions and unwanted attention from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and the Traffic Commissioner. That is not just a compliance issue, it is lost time and operational disruption.

We’re pleased to announce a new partnership between Delicata Coachbuilders and Vehicle Weighing Solutions, bringing our award-winning VOPS2 vehicle overload protection system directly to Delicata-built vehicles.

For those who don’t already know them, Delicata Coachbuilders are a respected family-run UK vehicle bodybuilder, founded in 1981 and based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, United Kingdom. They specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke and standard commercial vehicle bodies, using lightweight materials to maximise payload. Their range includes drop-siders, Luton bodies, curtain-siders, tippers, beaver-tails, platform/flat-beds, exhibition units, and van ply-lining. The business is growing year on year with a great reputation for top quality workmanship leading to them having a great reputation for quality and innovation.
