We recently installed solar panels at Martin’s property, and since then he’s welcomed his gorgeous baby girl, Freya, into the world.

Martin popped into the Northern Renewable Centre to collect a Murtle teddy for her, before taking Murtle on a little adventure around Redcar — even sending us these brilliant photos from their day!

🐢🔧 VRF SYSTEM DECOMMISSIONING – REDCAR

Our team at Northern Renewable Centre is currently in Redcar carrying out the decommissioning of an existing Mitsubishi VRF air conditioning system as part of a major property renovation.

Rather than removing and replacing a perfectly usable system, we’ll be carefully:

✅ Recovering the refrigerant safely
✅ Disconnecting and removing the existing VRF equipment
✅ Storing and protecting the system during the renovation works
✅ Reinstalling the full system once the property is ready
✅ Pressure testing, recommissioning and bringing it back into operation

This allows the property owner to reuse their existing air conditioning system, helping reduce unnecessary replacement costs and waste while still allowing the full renovation works to go ahead.

A great example of how existing equipment can be professionally removed, protected and brought back into service. 👷‍♂️❄️

🐢 Murtle’s back on site in Redcar!

We’re currently working at the old Santander Bank in Redcar, carrying out refrigerant recovery and decommissioning the existing VRF system ahead of the building’s renovation works.

Safe removal and correct recovery of refrigerant is an important part of preparing the site for the next stage of the project.

We’ll be sharing more updates as the work progresses, so follow Northern Renewable Centre for more behind-the-scenes progress! 👷‍♂️🔧
