Another project wrapped up 💪🏻 We had 8 weeks to transform this 7 bed, 3 bathroom student accomodation into 6 bed, 6 bathrooms along with a full refurbishment. The team smashed it finishing 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Works comprised of

1️⃣ Full strip out ✔️
2️⃣ Create 3 new bathrooms ✔️
3️⃣ Refurbish 3 existing bathrooms
4️⃣ Replace all lighting ✔️
5️⃣ New decorations throughout ✔️
6️⃣ New flooring throughout ✔️
7️⃣ New kitchen ✔️
8️⃣ Relocation and replace boiler ✔️
9️⃣ Media wall install ✔️

It’s not just extensions and renovations we carry out at Walters James. Over the past 2 years between other projects, we’ve been tasked to build 4 assisted living pods on existing care home sites for our client. These 6x8m 1 bedroom bungalows create additional revenue from otherwise wasted space and would be equally suited to use as holiday rentals on your own property 👌🏻

Recent landscaping project all wrapped up. We took this from a blank canvas and created a stunning 160sqm space for our client to entertain their guests all year round. The main focal point being the 6x4m fully automated pergola with integrated LED lighting, electric louvres and blinds complimented with speakers to create the perfect party atmosphere! Thanks to Elmbridge Landscaping for working alongside us to help meet the project deadline, for all the landscaping materials, for the LED feature lighting & for the photography 🙏🏻

Large downstairs extension/reconfiguration project completed recently. This was originally a separate kitchen and dining room which we knocked through and then extended with a second orangery which adjoined an existing. A couple of before pictures added to show what can be achieved with some careful planning, a bit of head scratching and a lot of vision! Thanks to for supplying all@the building materials 🙏🏻

Thank you to all those that have donated so far to our Movember fundraiser. We’ve smashed our original target but we’d like to push for as much as possible. For a limited time, Pringles will add an additional £20 for each donation which will help massively 🙏🏻

Movember, the month formerly known as November, is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

As we’re in the month of November, here at Walter’s James we’ve decided to grow some questionable facial hair and take part in a few events in order to raise funds for Movember. So far we’ve ran 10k at the Morunning event in Birmingham dressed in inflatable dinosaurs, and more recently climbed Mount Snowdon. There’s still plenty of time left in the month so we’ll be squeezing in another event or two!

Movember is a fantastic cause that helps raise awareness in Men’s health covering testicular and prostate cancer as well as mental health.
