Assistant Manager – Self Storage & Site Operations
📍 Astwood Storage, Astwood Business Park, Redditch
💷 From £13.50 per hour
🕒 Part-Time (22.5 hours per week)
📅 Monday to Friday | 10:00am – 3:00pm (30-minute unpaid break)
➕ Additional hours available to cover holidays, training and sickness
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence Required
Are you organised, customer-focused and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same?
Astwood Storage is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to help support the day-to-day operation of our award-winning self-storage facility.
You'll work closely with both the Self Storage Manager and Site Manager, helping customers, driving sales, maintaining the site, supporting administration and ensuring our facility remains clean, secure and welcoming.
What You'll Be Doing:
✅ Assisting customers in person, over the phone and by email
✅ Conducting storage unit viewings and facility tours
✅ Supporting sales enquiries and converting leads
✅ Processing customer paperwork and account administration
✅ Preparing units for new customers
✅ Maintaining high standards across the site
✅ Supporting minor maintenance and operational tasks
✅ Assisting with stock control and retail sales
✅ Supporting local marketing and promotional activities
✅ Helping ensure a safe, secure and professional environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
✔ Has previous office, administration or customer service experience
✔ Is confident communicating with customers
✔ Has excellent organisation and attention to detail
✔ Is proactive, reliable and hands-on
✔ Can work independently and as part of a team
✔ Is comfortable using computer systems and Microsoft Office
✔ Holds a full UK driving licence and is willing to be trained on machinery
