highway cement stabilisation

Over the last 3 weeks RTW have been stabilising two-way, highway roads for Doncaster council. 200mm deep cement stabilisation, graded, tack coat applied then 50mm overlay of tarmac. Also single lane highways with a double Coat surface dressing as per the specification.

This has corrected sub-base movement and cracking in the surface, with a reduced carbon footprint against conventional and being able to recycle all the materials on site, with a large cost-saving!

Delivered Friday, out to work on site Monday!

RTW has taken delivery of a new Secmair Chip sealer CT.
This machine has been specified with a non-tipping body for health and safety reasons on site and will extend out to 4.4m wide, spraying Binder and chipping in one pass.

It has been added to our Fleet working alongside two other Secmair units, mainly used for sealing our Cement Stabilised serfaces, but also available to supply Suface Dressing on its own .
