Osbit Site Coordinator, Neil Campbell, has built his career on hands-on experience and a real passion for engineering done right.

Starting out as an apprentice motor mechanic at Sunderland Council, Neil transitioned into the offshore sector, and gradually stepped into leadership roles, gaining experience across maintenance, heavy lifting, and large-scale projects.

That mix of experience means he’s comfortable working in busy, high-pressure environments, always with a strong focus on safety and doing the job properly.

At our Port of Blyth facility, Neil is right at the heart of day-to-day site operations. His passion for safety, problem solving, and hands-on leadership ensures site operations run smoothly.

For Neil, the best part of the job is seeing a project come together, from the first parts arriving on site to the finished equipment heading out the door. Being part of that whole process is what makes it all worthwhile.

Neil’s journey reflects what Osbit is all about - practical engineering expertise, strong teamwork, and a shared focus on delivering high-quality solutions in the offshore wind sector.
