That's a wrap.
So I took out the old concrete path way which was poured straight on to the soil many moons ago. As a result the path had sunk.
Put in a 100 mm of type 1 to form the sub base.
And replaced the concrete manhole cover for a recessed cover. I laid a beautiful smoked vogue porcelain slab with a charcoal boarder.
The end result is beautiful. The customer is over the moon. Even some of the neighbours have taken the time to come over and say how lovely it looks. But the icing on the cake was a random 8 year old boy coming up to me and saying 'that's a lovely job mate'
Already got a couple of enquiries from this job.

Back tomorrow for the grout and clean up.
Taken a lose on this job but happy too. The customer is an amazing lady who is so kind hearted. If only all my customers were like her.

Just when you think you're gonna be able to fully wrap a job up and the replacement for the damaged items are damaged.
Oh well.

Well that's a made a massive difference.
Very happy with the end result. Only thing left to do is dress the lead. Cemented in the verge today so will let that fully cure then finish the lead work off on Thursday when I'm back to build a veranda in the back garden.
