Fresh plaster doesn’t get painted — it gets prepared.

This is the part most people rush… and where paint jobs fail later.

Before any colour goes on, fresh plaster needs to be:
• Fully dry
• Lightly sanded to remove trowel marks
• Dusted down properly
• Sealed with a correct mist coat (matt emulsion, watered down)

Skip this stage and you’ll see it eventually:
❌ Flaking paint
❌ Patchy finish
❌ Cracks telegraphing through
❌ Poor adhesion

At SSCS, we treat prep as part of the build — not an afterthought.
Because the final finish is only as good as what’s underneath it.
