GSS returned to Vernacare Healthcare in Worksop for the next phase in the flooring refurbishment program.

A very smooth, yet durable and slip resistant finish, suitable for medium to heavy traffic, and is deal for warehouses, manufacturing, factories and other areas required a strong, long-lasting resin finish 💎

GSS completed another kitchen floor refurbishment for the famous Mexican street food chain, Wahaca in Westfield Shopping Centre, London🌮

The tiled substrate was mechanically prepared prior to the application of a low viscosity resin primer, used to strengthen the surface and the bond of the tiles. Substrate repairs were carried out where old kitchen was removed and replaced and a 100mm high, radial resin cove was installed.

Finally, a 9mm polyurethane resin screed was laid throughout the area and sealed with a clear resin coating to greatly aid cleaning and improve slip, and abrasion resistance.

As part of their ongoing refurbishment plans, we completed another section of their storage and warehouse facility by carefully preparing their existing substrate using a dust-free process, enabling them to continue their day-to-day manufacturing whilst we carried out this work

5mm, self-smoothing, polyurethane resin system for Haynes Ford, Canterbury.

Surface preparation works were carried out with remote control diamond floor grinders prior to the application of two coats of an epoxy primer. A 5mm, polyurethane resin screed was then installed throughout the total area along with two additional resin seal coats to aid slip resistance, increase chemical and abrasion resistance.

Finally, all the expansion joints were reinstated along with blue pedestrian walkways and yellow line markings.

GSS installed a complete resin floor finish for cosmetic manufacturer, Pantheon, in their prestigious new factory in Aylesbury.

The new concrete substrate was prepared with remote control, diamond floor grinders before the application an epoxy DPM primer.

A 100mm high resin cove detail was installed to all the perimeter walls prior to two applications of Altro resins high-build epoxy coating. A fine quart aggregate was incorporated within the top coat of resin for a mild slip-resistant finish.
