We do more than build šŸ› ļø

At Precision Timber, weā€™re best known for our timber playground equipment and outdoor space transformations. But did you know we also offer repairs and maintenance?

From worn or damaged equipment to products needing a little TLC, our team can help keep your outdoor spaces safe, functional, and ready for play.

And the best part? Your equipment doesnā€™t have to be from us. Last week, we visited Aston Springs Farm to carry out some repairs on their trim trail items, as well as deliver some new playground equipment (and say hello to their horses)!

So, whether we installed it or not, weā€™re here to give your playground a new lease of life, because every great outdoor space deserves to be enjoyed for years to come.

Something new is rolling around our workshop...

Our workshop team are currently busy bringing a bespoke ball run to life, with plenty of timber taking shape behind the scenes. From the first cuts to the final assembly, thereā€™s a lot that goes into creating any bespoke piece of play equipment, but particularly this complex structure.

Thereā€™s still a way to go before this project reaches the site at GreenWood - Gelli Gyffwrdd, but weā€™re already looking forward to seeing it in action.

For now, hereā€™s a little peek behind the scenes.

Every adventure starts with a little curiosity!

Whether itā€™s climbing an adventure tower, scrambling across a scramble stack or discovering a new route through a trim trail, playgrounds give children the freedom to explore.

Our playgrounds are designed to challenge children and encourage them to become little adventurers! Thereā€™s always an adventure waiting to be had, and the best are those you canā€™t help but join in with.

Happy Adventure Day! šŸ›šŸ§

Last week, OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning CIC hosted their North Regional Meeting, where schools in the region can come together to develop a culture where play is valued, embedded, and enables children to have amazing playtimes every single day.

As part of the event, they held a prize draw for some of our offcuts and other materials. The winning schools were Cherry Burton CofE Primary School, Kingswood Parks Primary School, and Lift Newington.

Weā€™re proud to support these events and local schools with our offcuts, and weā€™re looking forward to seeing what they get up to with their new goodies! šŸ™ˆ

This week all our teams came together for a whole company meeting, where we share ideas, reflect on recent projects, and look ahead to whatā€™s next. It was a chance to catch up and make sure weā€™re all heading in the same direction.

From the workshop and site teams to project management, design, sales, and marketing, thereā€™s a lot that goes into bringing each project to life. We see strong collaboration, teamwork, and communication as central to progress and success.

Another productive week done. Now for the weekend! šŸ‘
