Over the Christmas period we were asked to step in at short notice to carry out 6 critical stainless steel pipe repairs at a waste water treatment facility.

The pipework was 316L stainless steel, which meant the job had to be done properly — clean preparation, controlled TIG welding, full back purging, and absolutely no shortcuts. The priority was simple:
keep a large end user operational
minimise downtime
avoid unnecessary disruption and cost

Despite the timing, the repair was completed, inspected, and the hydro test passed with flying colours.

This is the part of the job most people don’t see: the planning, preparation, paperwork, and responsibility — especially when working on infrastructure people rely on every day.

Massive thanks to the client for the trust. Turning up when it matters most is something I take real pride in.
