On the road!

Our latest containerised power systems have been fully packaged and are now on their way to their final destination.

After completing the build and testing here at our facility, each unit was carefully shrink-wrapped to protect it in transit, then lifted and loaded onto the trailer using our heavy-duty mobile column lifts. Every stage was planned to keep the systems safe, secure and ready for installation on arrival.

A big thank you to our team for their hard work and attention to detail throughout this project.

Innovation in Action: Growth Challenge

Our Marketing Manager, Amy Wilkinson, recently attended the Innovation in Action Growth Challenge, hosted by Making Wayves and Richard Bland.

The event marked the start of a six-month programme that will see Amy road test new technology alongside a talented cohort of industrial site managers and directors, as well as connecting with a number of local manufacturers.

At Anderson Power Generation, we are committed to supporting our team in developing their skills and knowledge. Investing in our people is key to driving the business forward, and we look forward to seeing the ideas and insights this programme brings.

Meet the team Tuesday!

This week, we are introducing Oliver Murphy, one of our Level 3 apprentices here at Anderson Power Generation.

Oliver is currently working towards his Level 3 Electrotechnical qualification at Kirklees College, combining his studies with valuable hands on experience as part of the APG team.

Working both at our factory and across a variety of sites, Oliver has the opportunity to learn alongside our experienced electrical team and put the skills and knowledge gained at college into practice. From supporting electrical installations to getting involved with day-to-day project work, he is building a strong foundation for his future career in the industry.

We are proud to support apprentices like Oliver as they develop their skills, gain industry experience and work towards becoming fully qualified.

Great to have you as part of the team, Oliver!

FUN FACT: Oliver enjoys traveling and spent 6 weeks traveling and exploring Australia and Thailand.

Our team are continuing to make great progress on the electrical and mechanical systems within these generator containers.

With a busy project schedule and important deadlines to meet, everyone involved has worked together to keep each stage moving efficiently, while maintaining the quality and attention to detail required throughout the build.

From the electrical installation through to the mechanical works, it has been a real team effort. It is great to see the containers progressing through the factory and the hard work from everyone involved coming together.

Another strong example of our electrical and mechanical capabilities working side by side under one roof.
