Can we stop telling mums babies should sleep through once they hit 4.5kg?

Some do early on — most don’t. If your baby wakes and won’t settle, they’re probably hungry. Feed them.

Breastfed babies wake often, cluster feed, and babies go through growth spurts. It’s normal. Some babies just don’t sleep well — even with perfect routines.

All my kids had the same routine. Each did things in their own time. No baby feeds hourly forever — and telling mums it’s “not sustainable” just adds pressure.

Feed to sleep, cuddle to sleep — they’ll grow out of it. Follow what feels right for you.

If you’re in the thick of it, exhausted and up every hour — it won’t last forever.

Soak up the cuddles… one day they’re 11 and rolling their eyes at you. ❤️

How do I prioritise tasks when mom-life gets wild?

I get asked this all of the time.

I’ve had people tell me you can’t run a business with kids at home.

Now don’t get me wrong not every day is easy but it is 100% do able.

So how do I do it:

✅ Have a morning routine so the kids know exactly what we’re doing
✅ Have a regular to do list of all the daily tasks even though I do them everyday
✅ Get as much ready the night before as I can
✅ Clean and tidy up every night so I slash wake up to a clean house
✅ Plan my weeks ahead with work
✅ Adjust as needed and accept sometimes stuff doesn’t get done and that’s ok it will get done another day
✅ Regular daily marketing tasks that’s are done before any other work
✅ Endure my week includes all aspects business work, me time, time with the kids, time with my husband and time for the house

Once upon a time I lived a chaotic life. Nothing seemed to get done.

I was always stressed and I struggled to fit the business into the day.

But using systems along with a routine has changed everything.
