🚨 Avian Flu Alert: Protect Your Birds! 🚨

As of February 28, 2025, the United Kingdom has reported a total of 43 confirmed cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) since the current outbreak began on November 5, 2024

To prevent further spread, DEFRA has declared an Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ), requiring all bird keepers to follow strict biosecurity measures.

🔹 Keep all bird areas clean
🔹 Minimize human interaction
🔹 Use foot dips or disposable shoe covers
🔹 Store food, water, and bedding securely
🔹 Ensure aviary mesh has an aperture no larger than 25mm
