We've had engineers assisting an industrial customer with their Volvo Penta TAD880VE engine this week.

The customer called to report alarms relating the the EGR. Upon attending and investigating we replaced the EGR along with the oil and filters.

The machine was test run and back in operation for the customer.

Our engineers have recently completed the removal and replacement of a Volvo Penta UK IPS 30-D for a wind farm customer, following initial inspections that identified metal contamination within the oil.

The existing unit was removed and replaced with a new IPS drive, which was laser aligned and commissioned within just four hours. The vessel was then ready to return to service, minimising downtime and ensuring a swift return to operational capability.

A nice sunny day to be out on site supporting an industrial customer with their Volvo Penta TAD880VE engine with EATS.

Our engineer located crystallisation around the dosing valve. Pressure build up carried out before refitting and testing the engine on load.

Machine was back in action for the customer with minimum downtime.

One of the most picturesque locations in the country, our engineers recently attended a commercial marine customer’s vessel to install two new Volvo Penta D8-MH engines that we supplied, replacing the existing Cummins 6BTS engines.

Following the completion of the installation, comprehensive sea trials were carried out to assess the performance of the new propulsion system and confirm that the vessel was fully operational before returning to service.

With the new Volvo Penta engines now in place, the vessel and its crew can continue to provide a reliable service to their customers with confidence, benefiting from the exceptional reliability, fuel efficiency, and performance for which Volvo Penta is renowned.
