Meet the newest (and youngest) recruit to the BM Plumbing & Heating team! 🚧👷‍♂️

With the summer holidays in full swing, we love showing the next generation what a real day on the tools looks like. Yesterday it was Finley's turn to join the family business, and he absolutely smashed it.

He wasn't just making the tea! Finley got his hands dirty helping us replace the brake pads on the van using the orange axle stands, took the controls of our yellow micro excavator under close supervision, and even shadowed the team on a complex drainage job.

As you can see from the photos, he helped us track an underground line near some pub kegs using our CCTV drain camera and Vivax locator tool, finding the exact spot and marking it out with a red 'X'. His enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and brilliant attitude kept us all smiling all day.

It is so important to get young people interested in skilled trades. Who knows, we might just have another fully qualified BM engineer on our hands in seven years!

We were called out to a local pub in the Harpenden area this week to investigate some serious drainage issues.
