Transforming a 1930s St Albans Home into a Remarkable Family Residence
This extensive transformation saw us triple the size of this beautiful 1930s property through the construction of a two-storey rear extension, two-storey side extension, two-storey front extension, and a single-storey rear extension.
Scope
The project involved a significant expansion of the existing home, creating substantial new living space while ensuring the design remained sympathetic to the property’s original architecture and setting.
Craftsmanship
A key objective throughout the project was to preserve the character and unique features of the original home. We carefully retained and restored decorative mouldings, internal doors, and the property’s distinctive exterior façade, ensuring the charm of the original architecture remained at the forefront of the design.
Working closely with our client, we delivered a stunning interior finish featuring bespoke joinery, elegant wall panelling, and high-quality craftsmanship throughout.
