This weekend saw Caerdav host its annual Golf Day - a fantastic way for staff and contractors to build their relationships over a competitive round or two at Cottrell Park Golf Club ⛳🏌️

Managing to dodge the worst of the weekend weather, a great day was had by all with some excellent golf played - alongside a few less impressive performances 👀👀

🏆 Our overall winner, for the second year running, was Facilities team member Leigh Lewis!

The final Ryanair aircraft of our 2025 / 26 winter maintenance season has left Twin Peaks and the tarmac at St. Athan. 🛫

Our busiest season yet working with the airline, we've turned round 31 aircraft, including 11, 14 and 17-year checks. With a number of years under our belts working with the team at Ryanair, we're proud of the service levels we continue to deliver.

Today is Aviation Maintenance Technician Day - the perfect opportunity to celebrate the incredible team on our hangar floor... ✈️🔧🪛

Commemorating the birthday of Charles Edward Taylor (May 24, 1868) - the mechanic who built the engine for the Wright brothers' first successful powered flight - this is a day designed to recognise the skilled people round the world who work tirelessly to keep us all flying safely. Which of course, also includes those here at St. Athan!
