⚽ A TALE OF TWO HALVES! ☀️🌧️

What started as a fantastic morning of football unfortunately turned into a very wet afternoon!

The SoccerAid Safari got off to a brilliant start, with 24 youth teams from across Cornwall & Devon taking part in the Argyle Community Trust Tournament.

With the sun shining, players, parents and spectators enjoyed a great morning of football, with appearances from Pilgrim Pete and Larry the Lion adding to the fun! 🦁

Sadly, the heavens opened in the afternoon, and the decision was made to cancel the now famous Adults Charity Match to protect St Blazey FC’s beautiful pitch.

Despite the rain, plenty of people stayed on, enjoying a burger, a beer and, most importantly, the fantastic community spirit that this event brings. 🍔🍺

And the result?

A fantastic local event is returning, bringing the community together for a brilliant day of football, fun and fundraising for the Vanessa Grant Trust.

There’ll be Senior Charity Match at 4pm, entertainment for children all day, food, bar, a Junior Tournament and plenty of community spirit!

Whether you’re taking part, cheering from the sidelines or simply helping spread the word, your support can make a real difference.
