We’re looking to speak with experienced closed-cell spray foam contractors who operate to a high technical standard and are interested in expanding their range of applications.

We’re currently working with two new closed-cell applications and are assessing contractor interest ahead of training and rollout.

🔹 Concrete Lifting / Slab Jacking
We are developing a PU foam slab jacking system for concrete lifting and ground stabilisation.
Dedicated training courses are being planned, and we’d like to understand how many contractors would be interested in adding concrete lifting and slab jacking to their service offering.

🔹 Floor Insulation (Pre-Screed Application)
We have secured and tested a newly developed closed-cell foam designed specifically for floor insulation prior to screeding.
This system is applied before screed or concrete, allowing for fast, controlled installation, and we are also assessing interest in training for this application.

🔹 Important to note
These are specialist closed-cell applications, distinct from traditional loft or general commercial spray foam work, and are intended for contractors with existing closed-cell spraying experience.

At this stage, we’re simply looking to speak confidentially with companies or teams who would be interested in individual training courses or both courses.
This is to help us understand levels of interest and numbers before finalising course structure and scheduling our first training sessions.

The UK Government has now confirmed:

“The government has worked with industry and inspection protocols were published to allow the proper assessment of spray foam installations. Recent indications are that most mortgage lenders no longer have blanket policies on spray foam insulation. While the department cannot comment on the decisions made by individual lenders, the presence of spray foam should not automatically prevent lending and decisions should be made on a case-by-case basis following a survey.”

This is massive progress for our industry — proof that all the work that’s been done behind the scenes by the IMA, manufacturers, and professionals across the UK is paying off.

There’s still work to do!

The Energy Security and Net Zero Committee published its First Report of Session 2024–25, Retrofitting homes for net zero, (HC 453), on 22 May 2025. The Government Response was received on 21 July 2025 and is appended below.
