Good progress being made on this full refurbishment project in Polruan, working alongside
Taylor Plumbing & Heating Cornwall are currently pushing ahead with first / second fix plumbing works and the heat pump installation.

Taylor Construction were brought in to take over elements of the internal works and help drive the project forward towards completion.

Works currently underway include:
• Installation of internal tanking membrane
• New stud wall construction
• Insulation upgrades throughout
• Plasterboarding and full plastering works
• Stair installation
• Installation of new front door
• General coordination to help bring the project over the line

A great project with a fantastic view, and plenty more progress to share over the coming weeks.
Nice to finally have some ☀️ today.

Project Spotlight | Roof Refurbishment

Roof strip and refurbishment completed to restore structural integrity and provide a long-term weatherproof solution.

Following investigation, significant deterioration was identified within the existing roof deck, requiring full removal and replacement to ensure durability and protection of the property.

Scope of works included:

• Installation of new fascias
• New guttering installed throughout

Project Spotlight | Groundworks & Project Management

Project management and coordination of a reinforced concrete slab to accommodate a new signage cage, delivered strictly to issued drawings and specifications.

This package required careful planning, setting-out, and coordination to ensure accuracy prior to installation of the signage structure.

Scope of works included:
• Setting out in accordance with approved layout drawings
• Excavation and ground preparation
• Formwork installation
• Reinforcement steel fixed to specification
• Coordination of concrete supply and pour
• Slab formed to required levels and tolerances for signage installation

We were brought in as part of the delivery team to help get this new Co-op store over the line and ready to open on deadline day.

Over a four-week programme, we worked alongside multiple trades on a live commercial site, delivering key elements of the build with tight coordination and time pressure throughout.

Our scope included:
• Carpentry works throughout
• Shop fit-out support
• Back-of-house decoration and carpentry
• External works and finishing
