We’re pleased to welcome Billy Panagiotakis to Vertical Lift Services as our new Junior Project Manager.
Billy joins VLS to further strengthen our growing Projects Department and brings valuable technical experience to the role.
As well as supporting the planning and delivery of our lift projects, Billy’s technical background will allow him to work closely with our field engineers, providing additional support from initial survey right through to completion.

Recently , I talked about our decision to remain independent and continue building Vertical Lift Services for the long term.

But the truth is, none of that happens without our people.

A business is only as strong as the team behind it — and we’re incredibly proud of the team we’ve built at VLS.

From our engineers out on the road, to our operations, service, repairs, projects, administration, and management teams — every single person plays a part in our growth.
We’ve grown because our people care.
They care about our customers.

They care about doing a good job.

They care about supporting each other.

And they care about where VLS is going.
We can invest in vans, systems, equipment and technology — but our biggest investment will always be our people.

There’s been a lot of movement in the lift industry recently, with a number of independent lift companies being acquired by or selling to larger nationwide groups.

At Vertical Lift Services, we’ve made a conscious decision:

We’re not selling.

We’re proud to be an independent, growing lift company — and we have a clear vision for where we want VLS to go.

Over the last few years, we’ve invested heavily in our people, our systems, our engineering capabilities and, most importantly, our customers.

And we’re not finished yet.

Our ambition is to continue growing organically, strengthen our team, win new customers and build VLS into an even stronger independent lift company.

We want to grow because we’re good at what we do — not because we’ve been bought.

There’s nothing wrong with selling a business. It’s a personal decision every owner has to make.

But for us, the vision is bigger.

We’re here for the long term.
