Now I don’t normally share anything I do with passing on kindness or giving to homeless etc, for the past few months every week I’ve blessed 1 random person in the hope that they pay it forward. But this story hits a little different!

I was travelling through Manchester when a gentleman who goes by Steven Jenkins from Bristol living on the streets of Manchester comes to my van window and ask for spare change.

I didn’t have any at the time but wanted to offer him an opportunity to earn a little bit of money, trading him half an hour of his time for some money/food. Steven jumped at the chance grabbed his bag from the traffic lights he places himself at daily and jumped in, no questions asked.

In half an hours time I learnt more about Steven than I probably know about myself 😂 whilst I only need him to foot a set of laddders whilst gutter cleaning he worked, had everything I needed ready before asking. Now yes there is a point to my story sadly I would like to give Steven an opportunity but as I have just expanded the team I don’t have enough for him to help out when needed. But having said that I will use him when I can - Steven has accommodation some nights but can’t afford it every night, but is willing to work for his £, Steven has a contact number and has asked me to share this in the hope he will find some work every now and again - 07507 388645 placed in m40 area of Manchester.
