✨The Barn✨ over the past few months the Blackburn carpentry team has been working on this barn conversion project picking up from the previous builders who had unfortunately left both this home and the customer in a state of despair. What a day!! Todays jobs was to replace and refurbish the bottom of this tired old cottage door, I cleaned out the soak away gutter to stop blockage and indoor flooding, ripped out the old threshold and replaced with a lovely sapele threshold. Scarfed in some solid oak for the styles of the door frame, and then fitted some steel sheet for the doors as a temporary fix for a later date and all painted, very happy customer today indeed!

Another recycling job!! This piece of timber holding the end of a porch had certainly seen better days, using timber that was used in previous jobs the customer wanted to save a little on materials which I was happy to use. The end result has changed from an unsafe sight for sore eyes to looking brand new!

Today I had a little recycling job!! Lovely couple wanted to replace there old fencing which had seen its days for some tucked away picket fencing which will be treated and decorated in the future. As you can see I’ve had to do some cutting and fitting to get it in but in the end I had a very happy customer!!
