We have been so lucky with our sponsorship and support this year and we often get asked how we fund the carnival so thought we would give you a breakdown of it. Aside from the fundraisers we organise, the committee spend A LOT of time contacting local businesses and as a result we have managed to cover our carnival running costs meaning all profits will go to our two charities Seeds4Success and
Wilton & District Thursday Club.
We try and keep our costs as low as possible whilst also making sure that all performers and suppliers are paid fairly, and that we can make changes such as this year adding a First Aid company and a large marquee. The budget is constantly being looked at in terms of savings and maximising what we can provide. In addition to shopping about, we also apply everywhere we can for free supplies, or materials from companies and organisations that can afford to provide them.
We do all our own artwork and advertising, and make whatever we can by hand.
Thank you to all the committee who've worked so hard to secure the sponsorship this year, and to all the local businesses and organisations who have donated towards the carnival fund:
