Just before half-term, we wrapped up the Ipswich programme of workshops in Primary and Secondary Schools across the region. All fully supported by Sizewell C . Sessions used the new Redfern Electronics Crumble app and electrical components to be creative with LED lights or make a security device with an audible and visible alarm. All brought to life using code. Students did exceptionally well so we tested their knowledge by adding an LED matrix into the mix to code and light up!

We had a great time at Clarice Cliff school in Stoke on Trent yesterday delivering a session on Indi's as part of the HAF for The Hubb Foundation . The children were so lovely and thoroughly enjoyed learning how to code their Indi through a range of challenges and then made their own safari park! Thank you for having us!

On Friday Dom was lucky enough to be asked to bring our Sphero RVRs to Brands Hatch to work with children from local schools. The children had a chance to code and drive our robots as well as take part in other activities such as first aid and presenting, all made possible by Driven by Sport, Kwik Fit and the BTCC. In the afternoon they got to look around at the track and the pits and see the cars and the engineering required close up. What an experience and I think Dom might have enjoyed it too!

Last week we were pleased to be invited back to The Sixth Form Bolton to deliver two workshops - Drone and RVR+ Coding, both linked to Engineering Careers.

The students were some of the best we have worked with all year. Their enthusiasm, teamwork, communication and resilience were on show. Something any employer would welcome.

Dom delivered another Power Up Session in Ipswich this week for Sizewell C at Cliff Lane Primary.
Year 6 were learning how to code and wire up the Crumble Microcontroller as well as finding out about all the different types of careers there are at Sizewell C.
