Warning!!! This unit is HUGE!!!

In recent years we have come across many rear extensions with bifold doors stretching the width of the building added with ceiling lanterns. They look great but the building becomes a greenhouse.

To cool this area properly it has taken a 10kw split system to do the job. Thats a system capable of cooling an area of 100m2 🤯.

Plan ahead and there may be a more discreet option.

Retro fit installation.

Here is displaying a typical retro fit air conditioning installation in a new build property. With as little mess and disruption to the building we core out of the external wall and run pipework externally concealed in black trunking. Usually kept to the sides of the property so not seen from the front or rear.

We understand retro fit air conditioning isn't the prettiest but we work closely with our customers trying to achieve the least obtrusive installation.

Though there usually comes a compromise to good night's sleep on a hot summer evening 😀

Customer request, was to be discreet!

Much time was spent discussing what the customer would like and what could be achieved.

The result was concealing 2 x 3.5kw Daikin floor standing ducted units within these existing cabinets.

THE NEW BUILD!

Highly efficient but poor at keeping cool due to being so well insulated.

Budgeting for air conditioning is certainly something to consider when purchasing your new build home.

Floor standing Daikin Perfera system installed on the 2nd floor of this new build property. This unit is the perfect choice for bedrooms with sloping ceilings. Pipework ran beside down pipe in black trunking.
