We are incredibly proud to announce that the Family Stand at Lincoln City Football Club will officially become the **Dowling Community Stand**.

As a Lincoln-based business celebrating 20 years of trading, this is a very special moment for everyone connected with Dowling Civil Engineering. Our company has been built within this community—employing local people, supporting local families and delivering projects throughout Lincolnshire.

To now see our family name proudly displayed at the home of Lincoln City FC means a great deal to Kelly, me and the entire DCE team.

This is about far more than simply putting our name on a stand. It represents our commitment to the city, the football club and the community that has supported our journey since 2006.

A huge thank you to everyone at Lincoln City FC, our fantastic employees, loyal clients, suppliers and every person who has played a part in the DCE story. We could not have achieved this without you.

Dowling Civil Engineering Ltd is looking for established groundwork gangs, including experienced machine drivers, to join us on secured, long-term contracts continuing into 2027.

📍 **Location:** Within 20 miles of Lincoln

🔨 **Work includes:**

• Roads and sewers
• Large civil engineering projects
• Housing developments
• General groundwork

✅ **Requirements:**

• Relevant tickets and qualifications
• Minimum five years’ experience
• Reliable, experienced and able to work as part of an established team

💷 **Rates:** Negotiable, based on experience

🚐 **Van and fuel card provided if required**

🏆 What a pleasure it was to welcome Lincoln City FC and the League One trophy to our head office! Our staff loved seeing it up close and having their photos taken with it.

As a Lincoln-born-and-bred company, we’re incredibly proud to be part of the club’s journey and excited for its first season in the Championship.

It has also been fantastic to be involved in the new stadium development, which looks absolutely ace! Dowling Civil Engineering Ltd was brought in by Gen2 Construction to carry out the specialist concreting works to the seating area, working alongside fellow sponsors Rase Steels Construction & Civils Ltd and AMS Build Concrete, as well as Daniel Charles Construction Ltd.

Although we didn’t get the win on Saturday, the team showed that they’re here to compete and be taken seriously.

We wish everyone at Lincoln City FC all the very best for the season ahead.

Great to be involved in the construction of the new stand at **Lincoln City FC** ahead of the 2026/27 season. ⚽

To see the Dowling Civil Engineering team playing a part in another fantastic local project, helping prepare the ground for what promises to be an exciting season with our specialist concreting and shuttering team brought in to construct the seating plinths, ready for the installation of the new seating from **13th July**. We're delighted to confirm that these works are currently **ahead of programme**, helping to keep the project on track.

Working alongside Gen2 Construction Ltd has been a pleasure, and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.

As proud Gold Sponsors of Lincoln City FC, it has made this project even more special. Seeing the **Dowling Civil Engineering** name displayed on the new stand while also contributing to its construction has been a real privilege, and it's something everyone at DCE is incredibly proud of.

Lincoln City Football Club

🚧 Another project underway for a valued repeat client. 🚧

It’s always rewarding to be trusted with another scheme, and we’re pleased to have started work on our latest project consisting of:

✅ 4 new poultry units
✅ Over 4,000m² of construction works
✅ New access road
✅ Complete drainage infrastructure

It’s also great to see our 26-tonne and 16-tonne Hitachi excavators on site, carrying out the initial site strip in preparation for a significant earthworks operation involving approximately 5,000m³ of cut and 4,000m³ of fill.

As an added bonus, the project also includes works for our expanding Dowling Civil Engineering Concreting Division.

A huge milestone for the team, with the division closing out its first month having poured just shy of 15,000m² of concrete—an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

It’s also nice to be working so close to home. Once this week’s commitments are complete, almost all of our live projects will be within a 25-mile radius of Lincoln, making for much more efficient logistics and, hopefully, a welcome reduction in the fuel bill!
