800 mile round Trip to Inverie off the Scottish Peninsula to measure for a heat pump installation in a beautiful holiday lodge on the waters edge! Driving through the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, the furthest North Simon & I have ever been! 30 minute boat trip from Mallaig to Inverie was brilliant with Porpoises keeping us entertained!! Now back to Scarborough to sort the logistics ready for the installation come September! Wonderfully generous hospitality from our hosts ! Thank you for the opportunity to visit such a magical place 🥰

This is why it’s so important to choose a reputable company to install anything related to your heating and hot water. Someone has piped this expansion vessel into the wrong connection on this unvented cylinder. Meaning when the hot water is heated, the expanded water has nowhere to go. This has the potential to make the cylinder explode! Thankfully in this instance the safety valve kept releasing water out the cylinder, to relieve the pressure. So the customer has just been loosing a couple of gallons of hot water a day. Expansive!
