Big job from the summer in the heat šŸ„µ
It was a hard slog, but itā€™s always rewarding when itā€™s completed.
The render was fully removed as it was shot and hollow to the tap. Brickwork pvaā€™d before walls were boarded.
A new stud wall was erected, and both rooms had ceilings overboarded and walls dot and dabbed, then both rooms fully skimmed.

Letā€™s start with this.
The plaster has blown to an extent that the whole block section of wall needed to be removed. Luckily the section under the window wasnā€™t as bad. Boarded, skimmed, and blended in. Job done. šŸ‘šŸ»

This rental had a leak in the bathroom which meant pretty bad water damage to the kitchen ceiling below.
The existing kitchen was covered and sheeted up, boarded over and skimmed.
It can be a messy job, but care is always taken when going into a property where the furnishings are staying.

Not posted in a very long time!
So hereā€™s a fairly recent job Iā€™ve done for a couple that Iā€™ve previously done work for.
The ceiling was damaged from a leak in the bathroom, so it was taken down along with the coving.
The ceiling was then dropped and insulated to maintain heat, but to also cover where the damage was made from removing the coving.
Plasterboard and then skim and this ceiling is ready to be painted.
