Closing in on this project now! Laura Jane Painting & Decorating has completed the full house decorations thought and with all her challenges faced what a fantastic job she has done.
Bathrooms and downstairs toilet area complete by D s Wootton heating & plumbing now and looking fantastic, our joiners have been back in and finished all the skirting boards, door casings, and architraves. The staircase is finished and oiled now and it looks stunning in its own location.
The ground floor is fully stone floored throughout with the beautiful farmhouse green stone floor layer by our builder Lawson.
The kitchen and utility are fitted and ready for the guys to get in and template next week

Showing the young dog the old dogs tricks. Something that's hardly changed over the centuries is the construction of a staircase along with its method, and working outs.
Take a look at this stunning oak staircase we had manufactured and installed but ourselves. As we carried out this install we had the pleasure of teaching Theo the terminology and method not to mention the all important working out the spindles spacing. Once you know you never forget 🔨

Keep posted for the progress on this project as we are near a completion for the end of this year. Second fix joinery this week along with decorations and the last of the flagging.

When doors become windows and windows become doors, I think the dogs may get confused.
Here's a little progress report on our Kendal road job. As the next stages were to lower the ceiling, re wire the lights and over board after the structural wall was removed you can now see the progress taken over the last two days.
What you may not see is Lawson hiding in the photos 🍊 Lawson has stoned up the former door way to become a window matching in the stone.

As everyone's favourite Tommy returns tomorrow for plastering it won't belong before the new floor and kitchen is installed.

Happy Sunday!! And as we continue the Great kitchen fitting season at Fox Kitchens here you can see the second job started this week, The Kendal road job.
Requiring a structural steel in place to open up to what was a one person kitchen to be a family kitchen diner. You can see the team preparing the supports in place ready for the mornings big lift. Additionally we have started to lower the ceiling to take all the new electrics in place. As windows become doors and doors become windows this new open plan kitchen diner will surely have a huge impact for Leanne and Cal with the young family.

Just a little progress Update on one of our larger projects in stainforth.
With bespoke manufactured hardwood windows fully paint finished now installed. The house has had a complete full re plaster courtesy of our plasterer Tommy and the latest addition to the team Lawson the builder has carried out vast amounts of works including fully repointing the house gable, to landscaping and flagging with Indian stone, windows became door ways and door openings became windows. As Lawson continues inside laying the stone floor throughout the whole of downstairs, it's going to look fantastic. Upstairs fully decorated by our friendly decorator Laura Jane Painting & Decorating.
It's the plumbers turn now as works carry on installing the oil boiler and tank, bathroom suite and downstairs ensuite from our favourite over at D s Wootton heating & plumbing
But the most important piece, the kitchen due for delivery next week.

Day 2 of the langcliffe re roof, and with minimal breakage and just a few to source and swap we are nearly completed for the front elevation.
With the site prepped, clean and ready loaded for the second phase to re roof the team have had a great weekend. A well deserved drink to all for the efforts.

Project 2 has commenced today with a start to the construction of a front entrance to this timber framed property located on the edge of a nearby golf course surrounded by the magnificent views.
Part of a bigger scope of works where we will work closely with Cedral for the cladding to the entire property.

Great start to the week as team Fox hits the ground running on this project.
As the demolition crew started and removed everything from ceilings to skirting boards we are now ready to start forming the new bedroom and bathroom lay out with walk in wardrobes.
With electricians due this week and all other trades lined up, this project will be a pleasure to complete.
