Commercial Gas Engineer

ROLE PURPOSE & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Purpose
To deliver a Quality Service in the installation, commissioning/servicing and repairs of Heating, Ventilation
and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to our Clients.

2. Job Content
• To carry out replacement or new installations of HVAC systems as required.
• To conduct Servicing and Repairs to HVAC systems as required
• To liaise with our Clients in a safe and professional manner, including appearance (workwear
supplied), using safety equipment (Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplied) and vehicle
roadworthiness and appearance (where supplied).
• To keep in a good state of repair all personal items supplied and report to the Supervisor any item
that needs replacing.
• To read and use the Risk Assessments and Method Statements supplied to undertake the works and
report back to the Supervisor any corrections that need to be made to the Method Statements.
• To report to the Supervisor where any additional work that could be undertaken by L&K Air
Conditioning Ltd to improve the Client’s working Environment.
• To ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment and promote a positive safety
culture and ensure L&K Air Conditioning Ltd.’s safety rules are adhered to at all times.
• To follow L&K Air Conditioning Ltd.’s policies and procedures as required.
• To complete all necessary documents, whether statutory or L&K devised either electronically or in
paper format promptly so that works can be invoiced by our Administration Team.
• To be prepared to undertake training to reach the levels of competence expected by L&K Air
Conditioning Ltd for this role.
This should produce continuous improvement in the reputation of our business to all our Clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITY PROFILE
Academic or Professional Qualifications Required for the Role

Essential: Asbestos Awareness, Clean & current Driving Licence, City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in
Installation/Maintenance of Heating systems.

Desired: Any of the following: IPAF and/or PASMA, 1st Aid, CSCS/Skills Card, previous work on
commercial heating equipment.

AC ENGINEER REQUIRED

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineers
Location: South East of England
Salary: Competitive

London & Kent Technical Services is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services across the South East of England.

We are currently looking for experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineers to join our team.

· Requirements:

Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair work on air conditioning and refrigeration systems across various sites in the South East of England.

Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest safety standards
Provide excellent customer service to clients

NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.

F-Gas certification

Proven experience in a similar mobile role

Ability to diagnose and repair faults on a variety of systems
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

Full driving licence and willingness to travel across London and the South East of England
