Moon/Mercury harmonizes feelings with information. This can be a silent understanding - no words are necessary, just an intuitive flow of sensitive secrets and unconditional acceptance. If there is communication, it will be quiet and impactful.

This is the last aspect before the Moon goes VOC but if we include the Moon's trine to Ceres we have a Grand Water Trine- an emotionally protective influence that offers soothing words/thoughts along with a flood of nurturing. This can apply to self or someone else can be involved, but either way it's a comforting energy -a bond between you and another is strengthened or your own self-care is enhanced.

The key is embracing uncomfortable information (taboo, heavy, buried) and making it part of the moment- you/they still deserve compassion and care, no matter what is revealed. It happens quickly and there can be some intense feelings but somehow it's all manageable. The mind and heart work together and you know exactly what to say and when to say nothing.

This Grand Trine is active from 10:00 pm to 11:52 pm EDT. It's excellent for curling up by yourself or with a trusted someone.

This VOC stretches into the next day and ends when the Moon enters explosive Aries, abruptly shifting gears - you're ready to start fresh after the period of rest and healing.

♏ MERCURY RETROGRADE: October 24 – November 13, 2026 ♏

Mercury Retrograde gets blamed for everything from missed appointments to technological meltdowns. And to be honest with you, I have seen a fair share of glitches that tend to cluster around Mercury Retrograde!

(If you're in IT, I used to track software migrations and platform upgrades at work. They did seem to go off the rails more often when Mercury was Retrograde! But it's not like I could tell our VP of IT, “Hey, you know Mercury is Retrograde. Could you delay this by three weeks?” 😀)

But every Mercury Retrograde also offers interesting opportunities to look a little deeper.

Scorpio is associated with what lies beneath the surface: shared resources, private information, unspoken concerns and the things we'd sometimes rather not examine too closely.

So, where might you direct your attention during this retrograde?

It used to be about keeping your phone charged and leaving yourself plenty of time to get to important appointments. But this day and age, cyber crime is on the rise (the dark side of Pluto currently travelling through Aquarius 😡)

So, here is a modern look on Mercury Retrograde:

🔐 Check your digital privacy.

This is a particularly timely reminder. When did you last review which apps have access to your data, who can see your personal information, or which devices are logged into your accounts? It's easy to share more than we intend to—and to forget just how much information we've handed over.

🔎 Investigate your energy drains.

What consistently leaves you feeling depleted? What restores you? You might discover that something you've accepted as part of your routine is costing you more than you realized.

💬 Revisit a conversation.

If something someone said has been bothering you, ask what they meant rather than filling in the blanks yourself. An assumption isn't the same as an answer.

💰 Review shared finances.

Subscriptions, insurance policies, joint expenses and financial agreements deserve a closer look. Are the arrangements still working for you?

📝 Read the fine print.

Before committing to an agreement, make sure you understand the details, including the bits you might normally skim.

🔄 Notice the patterns you keep repeating.

Is there a familiar situation that keeps showing up in your life? Instead of concentrating only on the latest episode, consider whether there's an underlying pattern worth examining.

Mercury Retrograde isn't a reason to put your life on hold. It's an invitation to review, reconsider and pay attention to details that might otherwise escape you.

Mercury in Scorpio wants you to know: Sometimes the most useful discovery isn't something new. It's something you finally notice 🙂

Astraea conjunct North Node in Aquarius on the Sabian symbol ‘A Butterfly Emerging From A Chrysalis’ – Yes, we’ve been here before as Astraea once again rings the karmic bell. But it seems that what is required right now are repeated messages. Round and round we go, spiralling up and out, returning again and again to a similar point of reflection, an old story made new, a past life put to rest.

Here at the dragon’s head and tail, there is no fire and brimstone, no wrath or judgement. Whilst we might joke at our modern use of the word ‘karma’, its roots lie in the simplicity of ‘action.’ Time embellished the meaning, gilded it with spiritual reason – and sometimes tarnished it with moral superiority. We are all travellers on a path to enlightenment, slowly unfolding our wings into the vast space of awakening. The cage door is now open. Freedom is but a thought away.

The Sun opposes Eris, Goddess of Discord and Strife, as Venus retrograde in Scorpio enters the earthy underworld, and squares Pluto stationing direct, as Mercury in Scorpio prepares to turn retrograde. Mars in Leo the current midpoint of Venus and Mercury as well.

We don’t need to look far to see these eruptive energies playing out in the world around us, as social causes rise up against power, control and neglect.
