Uranus is newly in Gemini, and creating karmic waves and higher developments as it squares the Nodes of Fate throughout the month. These energies are jolting humanity into new levels of awareness, new perceptions, and entirely new timelines that are meant to happen quickly.

We are entering a period where old narratives, outdated systems, limiting belief structures, and unconscious patterns are rapidly dissolving, which could also feel like a welcomed relief.

The Nodes of Fate have been traveling through Pisces and Virgo since January 2025, guiding an 18-month cycle of karmic completion, healing, spiritual growth, and energetic refinement.

Now, as they approach the final degrees of these signs, Uranus arrives like a cosmic lightning strike moving through Gemini, disrupting old mental programming and accelerating breakthroughs that may permanently change the direction of our lives.

Throughout June, the North Node continues moving through Pisces while the South Node moves through Virgo.

The North Node in Pisces has been teaching humanity how to trust intuition, surrender control, deepen spiritual awareness, and release attachment to certainty. Pisces reminds us that not everything can be understood through logic alone. Some truths are felt before they are explained.

At the same time, the South Node in Virgo has been clearing patterns connected to perfectionism, overthinking, self-criticism, overworking, hypervigilance, anxiety loops, and the need to control every outcome. Virgo seeks order, structure, and practical understanding, yet this energy can also become trapped in endless analysis and mental exhaustion.

Now Uranus in Gemini arrives to shock these patterns awake, which will also set you free what where you were giving your energy away unconsciously.

Sun enters Cancer and sextile Chiron in Ta**us. First Quarter Moon in Libra – Merry solstice to all those celebrating. Whether midsummer or midwinter, the sun is the star of the show. Give thanks for the light. Know that you belong in this great human family. We are making history in these hours, stories we will pass from soul to soul, century to century.

Let’s make them stories of light, of the wise teachings that came from pain, of the unbreakable bonds made through our struggles. The emphasis is on finding a sense of place and a sense of peace. Lean into your relationships. Address any feelings of inadequacy or unfairness. Focus on finding balance and harmony inside and out. Stability comes through self-nurture. Send healing thoughts back through time to fertilise the ground beneath your feet.

The Summer Solstice brings the longest day (in the Northern Hemisphere) and a peak moment of light. In the sign of Cancer, there's an emphasis on home, childhood, mother, safety, feelings. Key issues from the past can be illuminated and celebrated- family bonds are reaffirmed during this powerful time.

But often, family and the past are not issues to celebrate. You can still experience the warmth of this day, however, because Cancer is about any place you might call home. And any people you might call family. So perhaps you're raising an emotional cup as you honour your current situation, whether you choose to share it or curl up safely by yourself. Home is where you create it.

The Sun's sextile to Chiron is the gentle offer of healing that applies to past and present. You're encouraged to embrace yourself, your resources, whatever you own. House, apartment, room - it doesn't matter. Watch for quiet reassurance and solidity. Where and who you are right now can be your safe space. This can happen despite the old losses, the scars, the physical illness. Don't wait for it all to get better- celebrate what you have now.

And we also have a First Quarter Libra Moon (square the Sun) which will add tension to the mix. While you're acknowledging what you have there will be a prompt to move forward (Cancer is a Cardinal sign, after all). That prompt will be triggered by an unbalanced situation-probably a relationship where you're reminded that you feel unsafe or you give too much or they've always made you feel (fill in the blank).

The Moon's quincunx to Chiron signals incompatibility between this awareness of the other vs the focus on healing yourself.

No need to throw your hands (or dishes) in the air and give up before you've begun. Yes, there could be uncomfortable family moments and emotional meltdowns - it's all ok. It's supposed to happen, you know - how else will things change? Keep reminding yourself that you're enough, you're safe within yourself. You have the right to declare your secure space and express your true feelings and honour your body. This could be a corner-turning moment when you tip the balance and break some of those patterns from the past. Don't shrink from the conflict.

Libra is also a reminder that the seasonal balance will tip after today as the days grow shorter. Nothing remains the same- the scales constantly swing from one extreme to the other. Use this momentum to make changes in your life (very helpful if you've been feeling bogged down by the past).

Venus/Ceres is a nice reminder that your individuality/talent/beauty are worth nurturing and you can nurture them by asking questions, learning, discussing, exploring a couple of new options. Now is not the moment to shut down - you're on the edge of something new. This is a playful influence with a touch of sparkle.

Note the Venus emphasis (Venus rules Ta**us and Libra) - she's represented in all of her guises. In Ta**us, she's about looking after your primary interests. In Libra, she connects with others. Shifting that balance in the First Quarter Square means redefining certain relationships - connecting with others in new ways as a secure, emotionally honest individual who's not afraid to be vulnerable with a trusted few.

While Cancer can be self-protective, this sign's true strength lies in its unmatched ability to empathize and be emotionally present. And sometimes that includes tears, messy displays and raw moments that make others uncomfortable. Other times, Cancer is the ultimate giver of comfort.

Cancer Solstice: In the Medicine Buddha's Garden

This year's Summer Solstice – Anglo 'Litha' and Tibetan 'dbyar nyi ldug' – sees the sacred turning of the Sun wheel on a Medicine Buddha day, healing illuminated through the wisdom of the Divine Feminine. As the Sun reaches its northern peak, blessing the North with long days of light whilst the South enters the embrace of longer nights, nature reminds us that all cycles wave in peaks and lows. Light and shadow, activity and rest, giving and receiving - each belongs within the great mandala of existence.

The Medicine Buddha day with the Moon in Virgo offers grounded discernment and sacred organisation, encouraging us to prepare carefully for the Solstice Full Moon 30th June. Virgo, as Sacred Goddess, understands that healing often begins through small acts of devotion, attentive care, and mindful stewardship of body, home, and spirit. This is a beautiful time to create order, simplify what has become complicated, and tend to the practical foundations that support future growth.

Yet this Solstice opens something far larger than a seasonal transition. It marks the beginning of an extraordinary celestial chapter known as ‘Barbault's Basket’, which is like a ‘Cosmic Collective Cradle’ holding a basket of amazing once-in-a-lifetime set of stars. Throughout the coming summer, a remarkably harmonious pattern, that hasn’t been seen for centuries, involves the outer planets and begins to unfold. This is not merely personal astrology; it speaks to the collective field itself — a transpersonal architecture suggesting a time of thresholds, of a growing impulse towards cooperation, healing, peace, creativity, and shared humanity.

At this Cancerian Solstice, the global family gathers as the Great Healing Mother now holds this cosmic basket of momentous possibilities, for this rare celestial harmony nurtures ideas of peace and love that are now finding their form within the collective heart.

If there were ever a time to heed the healing qualities of the Great Mother - for our families, for our hearts, and for the living body of Mother Earth herself — it is now.

May the Blue Healing light of this Medicine Buddha Solstice awaken wisdom, compassion, and right relationship in all beings.
