This is an especially exciting time to be involved with the club, as Sturminster Newton United has returned to the FA Cup for the first time in 148 years. To mark the occasion, the famous FA Cup trophy visited the club, where some of our senior engineers Stan Udell and Matty Jobbins had the privilege of meeting Club Chairman Lee Bright and posing with one of the most iconic trophies in world football. ⚽️ 🏆

We have recently completed another hot water system upgrade for one of our valued customers. 💧🔧

We removed the old roof space storage tanks and installed a brand-new unvented hot water cylinder, providing mains pressure hot water to every outlet throughout the property.

We spent some time planning this out, and working out the best layout and system for the hotel, longevity, future maintenance and cost.

We removed 2 x old Hamworthy gas boilers, they were becoming problematic, very inefficient and unreliable, the hot water was clunky, and also costly to run.

Our main objective was to design, and build a user friendly, efficient, clean and reliable system.

Due to the flue run we installed 3 x a 300kw plate heat exchanger, going into a 150L header, using pumps throughout. We then replaced the old gravity hot water system with a pressurised 310L high efficiency cylinder. Finally we install a new control panel, room stats and programmers to create a custom system specifically designed for site, with the boilers feeding both rooms, restaurant and offices we needed maximum control for the staff.

Now complete, both us and our client are very happy with the end result.

We will transfer the contents of your existing tank into a holding tank, remove sludge and water, prepare the old tank for disposal, and install a new tank according to OFTEC regulations.

We recycle 100% of the tanks we remove.
