This single-storey extension in Harthill had one major challenge… access. Every bucket of spoil and every material had to be moved by hand.

Not the easiest job we’ve taken on, but challenges don’t put us off.

The end result is what matters, and we’re delighted with how this project has come together.

Repair it again in 6 months… or fix the problem for good?

These walls were taking a constant battering from waste bins, leaving them marked, damaged and in need of regular repairs.

Rather than carrying out another temporary repair and redecoration, we recommended installing aluminium chequer plate protection to the lower wall areas.

The result? A clean, durable finish that protects the walls from future impacts and saves the customer from repeated repair bills.

Smart maintenance isn’t always about spending less. It’s about spending wisely.

So if you’re waiting for me to come quote your extension, fit your steels and unload half a ton of materials, I may be a little late

Currently strapping a DeWalt ToughSystem, 20 sheets of plasterboard and a 3m ladder to the handlebars. 🚲😂

🌿 Another Job Completed at Kiveton Park & Wales Community Development Trust🌿

Proud to have completed this new access pathway for Kiveton Community Hub, creating a safe and practical route for volunteers to reach the community garden.

The area was previously heavily overgrown and difficult to access, so the project involved clearing vegetation, preparing the ground, and installing a new granite pathway to provide year-round access for those maintaining and developing the garden space.

It’s always rewarding to see a transformation like this, especially when it supports a community project that brings so many benefits to local people.

The garden project isn’t finished yet either. A new boundary fence is due to be installed by another contractor in early October, which will help create a secure and enclosed garden area for volunteers and visitors to enjoy.

Storage is something most homes never seem to have enough of, so we made the most of the available space by reducing the larger bedroom by just 1 metre to create a practical walk-in wardrobe/storage area.
The new space has been finished with recessed LED spotlights, giving it a bright, clean and modern feel while adding valuable storage without sacrificing too much bedroom space.
A simple alteration, but one that completely transforms how the room functions and makes everyday living that little bit easier.
