A freshen-up for both a main bedroom and spare bedroom, bringing these rooms back to life. ✨

Preparation was the biggest part of this project to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality finish.

Both bedrooms required extensive filling and sanding, with the window walls affected by damp. All loose material was carefully scraped back before carrying out the necessary filling and sanding to create a smooth surface. A coat of mould protection was then applied to help prevent future issues before decorating.

A complete living room transformation, finished with quality products and attention to detail. ✨

This project involved much more than just painting – thorough preparation was key to achieving a long-lasting, professional finish.

🎨 Ceiling: Armstead Vinyl Matt White
🎨 Walls: Dulux Trade Matt – Egyptian Cotton

The original woodwork was finished in a dark stain, so every surface was thoroughly sanded and prepared before applying two coats of Zinsser B-I-N Stain Block. This seals the stain, prevents any bleed-through in the future, and provides extra protection against chips and marks.

The woodwork was then finished with two coats of Dulux Trade Oil-Based Satinwood in white, completely transforming the room with a fresh, modern look.

The existing dado rail was carefully cleaned down, prepared and re-varnished, preserving its original character while bringing it back to life.

Both radiators were also sanded, cleaned down and finished in a specialist white radiator satinwood paint, providing a durable finish that’s specifically designed to withstand heat while matching the freshly painted woodwork.

It’s the preparation you don’t always see that makes the biggest difference to the final result.

As part of this full exterior transformation, I painted both the inside and outside faces of the front boundary walls, along with the wall coping stones finished in a durable black exterior gloss for a clean, modern look.

The front of this property's exterior transformation. ✨

This project included a complete colour change to the rendered exterior using a kahki green masonry paint from Sandtex. The windowsills, fascias and brickwork edging all refreshed using black Sandtex masonry paint to give the property a clean, modern finish.

Take a look at this full exterior transformation. 🎨

This project included a complete colour change to the rendered exterior using a Khaki green masonry paint from Sandtex, freshening up the windowsills, fascias and repainting the brickwork edging in black using Sandtex masonry paint.

The rear of the property needed scaffolding due to the height, but the finished result was well worth it.
