Planning a weekend caravan escape, hauling gear for work, or taking a trip to the local recycling centre? Before you hitch up, don't forget the most critical link between your load and the road: your tyres.

Did you know using a vehicle or trailer in a dangerous condition can carry a fine of up to £2,500 and 3 penalty points in the UK?

Tread Depth: Must be at least 1.6mm across the central 3/4. Use a DVSA-approved PCL Tyre Tread Depth Gauge to check accurately.

Condition & Age: Inspect for sidewall cracks or bulges (especially if stored long-term!).
