This week, Arrow Technical was proud to be attending the ‘Innovate Space Festival’ at Leeds university. It was a great chance to look at the technologies and business opportunities the push into space may bring!

Arrow technical is keen to support great universities and new technology companies throughout the Yorkshire region. And we bring extensive experience developing high-end electronic solutions not just for aerospace, but for automotive, industrial, medical and consumer electronic markets from our base at Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Park.

Arrow Technical will be assisting the Leeds University Rocketry Association (LURA). We wish them well as fly the flag for The UK and Yorkshire in particular.

Arrow Technical has been at the forefront of helping companies and people bring their ideas to market.

Check out our project with Universal Drilling & Cutting Equipment Ltd (tag them) (UDCE).

Here, we were approached to fix an issue with the drill failing when in the field. We fixed the issue by quickly designing a new version without the deficiencies which we have been producing for UDCE ever since.

With Arrow Technical's help and guidance, the original design has been adapted to various versions for specialised markets and has satisfied all European CE-Mark laws and UL clearances.

We have continuously worked on the design and supply chain through our highly specialised manufacturing support services, and now have a product that costs less than third of the initial design, allowing UDCE's products to stay competitive in the worldwide market.
