It’s been a busy few weeks… 😅
These units have been on test for a good few weeks now, and it’s great to see both running with zero issues 👌
We were lucky enough to get our hands on some prototype BHP RCDs and RCBOs to carry out field testing across a few of our recent installs — and they’ve seriously impressed us.
The RCD:
Proteus have absolutely nailed it. It rivals the BHP models from other brands, with the big difference being it’s a 2-module unit instead of 4, saving space and making installs cleaner and easier.
The RCBO:
The pièce de résistance… the electrical chef’s kiss 🤌
These are going to be fantastic once they hit the market. Tested well beyond manufacturer specs, and they even include a fault indicator light — something we don’t often see done this well.
We’ve tried and tested BHP Type B and Type F devices from nearly every brand out there, and honestly, Proteus are right at the forefront. It’s exactly why we choose them over any other manufacturer.
Expected to hit shelves in early 2026, with a variety of options to suit every install.
