We’re proud to have taken part in the Steel City Cup, supporting the incredible work of Sheffield Children's Hospital NHS and Charity.

Held at Parkwood Karting on last week, the qualifying round brought together businesses from across Yorkshire for a fantastic day of competition, teamwork and fundraising. A special mention must go to Rowan Campbell-Pilling, whose passion, commitment and tireless efforts continue to make the Steel City Cup such a successful event year after year.

Airmaster entered two teams into the competition, and we’re delighted that one of our teams secured an impressive 3rd-place finish. Congratulations to Tom Healy, Scott Wolstenholme and Luke Grant, who claimed a place on the podium behind Irwin Mitchell in 1st and Gripple Limited in 2nd.

It was a brilliant event for an even better cause, helping to raise vital funds that support the life-changing work carried out by Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

Thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and to all the businesses that took part. We’re proud to support such an important local charity and look forward to being involved again in the future.

Airmaster Achieves ISO 45001 Health & Safety Accreditation, Reinforcing Commitment to People and Performance

Airmaster is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System certification, further strengthening its commitment to providing a safe, healthy and resilient working environment for employees, clients and partners.

ISO 45001 is an internationally recognised standard for occupational health and safety management. It provides a structured framework for identifying hazards, managing risk, meeting legal obligations, and continuously improving health and safety performance, while promoting strong leadership and employee engagement at all levels of an organisation.

The certification has been awarded following a successful independent audit conducted by AUVA Certification, a UKAS Accredited Body, Airmaster’s ISO certification partner.

Ian Chapman, QSHE & Compliance Manager at Airmaster, commented:

“Achieving ISO 45001 is a significant milestone for Airmaster and reflects our ongoing commitment to protecting the health, safety and well-being of everyone involved in our operations. This has been a true team effort, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Sam Casadei, Matt Andrews and Lee-Anne Batty for their dedication and hard work in helping us reach this standard. Their contribution has been instrumental in embedding robust systems and a positive safety culture across the business.”

Today, our marketing team, Jackie Cook and Lee-Anne Batty were proud to be representing Airmaster at the St Bernard’s Catholic High School Careers Fair in Herringthorpe, Rotherham.

The event welcomed students from all year groups this morning, giving them the opportunity to explore future career paths and learn more about opportunities within our industry. With a bright and early start, the team arrived at 8am to get set up (and enjoy a well-earned breakfast), ready for the 9am kick-off.

We’re also delighted to be part of such a well-supported event, with the Mayor of Rotherham in attendance.

Throughout the day, students, along with a visiting local primary school, visited our stand to find out more about what we do and how they can get involved in engineering and beyond.

Some of the students even went back to classes with Airmaster temporary tattoos!

Great to be inspiring the next generation! 🚀
