Standard fibre lasers do a great job on most materials. Some jobs need more control.

The MarkMate Laser is now available with an optional 30W MOPA source, giving independent control over pulse width and repetition frequency. That opens up high-contrast black marking on stainless steel, colour marking, and fine detail on materials a standard pulsed laser can struggle with.

A £100,000 aero engine disc lives or dies by one thing: the mark on it.

Marking doesn't make a component stronger, lighter, or faster. It adds nothing to the part's performance. But without it, that component can't be fitted, tracked, maintained, or replaced. It's one of the only processes in aerospace manufacturing that adds zero engineering value and is completely non-negotiable in every other sense.

Not every shop floor has room for a full workstation, or needs one. The MarkMate Laser doesn't need shop floor space, it's designed to work on a desk or workbench.

It's a compact, fully enclosed desktop laser marker built and supported in Sheffield, putting permanent, high-contrast marks on metals, coated metals, plastics, and ceramics without extra guarding or PPE. Class 1 laser safety, an interlocked door, and Pryor's Traceability Software as standard, covering everything from single-line text to database-driven serialisation and 2D data matrix codes.
