🌟Which? Trusted Traders Customer Review🌟

🌟 Neat, Tidy Work! 🌟

Customer Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Value: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The team arrived on time and treated our property with great respect. They worked efficiently and left everything tidy, clearly taking pride in their work.

During the installation, they encountered a political snag with the equipment supplier, which prevented them from commissioning the system right away. While it was understandably frustrating for the installers, Gone Solar stepped up with a solution that exceeded our expectations. They replaced the Enphase equipment with Solax, and as a gesture of apology, they added extra battery storage and provided a discount on our bill. This truly reflects their commitment to customer satisfaction.

We couldn’t be happier with our new system and wholeheartedly recommend Gone Solar to anyone looking for a solar solution!

🌞How Do Solar Panels Work?🌞

Absorption of Sunlight ☀️: Solar panels are made up of many solar cells, typically composed of silicon. When sunlight hits the solar cells, it excites the electrons in the silicon, generating energy ⚡.

Electron Movement ⚛️: The excited electrons begin to move. Each solar cell has a built-in electric field that directs these free electrons toward the front surface of the cell.

Creation of Electric Current 🔋: As the electrons flow, they create a direct current (DC). This flow of electrons can be harnessed and channeled through wires.

Inverter Conversion 🔄: The DC electricity produced by the solar panels is then sent to an inverter, which converts it into alternating current (AC) electricity. AC is the type of electricity used to power most homes 🏠 and appliances.

Distribution and Use 📡: The AC electricity can then be used to power your home, fed into the electrical grid ⚡, or stored in batteries 🔋 for later use.

Net Metering 💡: If your solar system produces more electricity than you consume, excess energy can often be sent back to the grid, allowing you to receive credits or compensation from your utility company 💰.

Overall, solar panels provide a clean, renewable source of energy 🌍 that helps reduce reliance on fossil fuels and lowers greenhouse gas emissions 🌱.
